This past school year I had Mrs. Newsome’s 6th grade class help me with the ideation process of creating this mural. It was an awesome collaboration with some brilliant kids. They chose everything from the style to the subject matter. Every decision was made by the class including the time of day and the animals that were included. They then got to watch my process painting it every day. 

 

Overall this was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful for Christy for giving me this idea and letting me paint on her walls. She was also my 6th grade teacher so being able to paint on the walls of my old 6th grade classroom was super special!
